Happy Saturday!
Hope you’re all having a great weekend so far ^^
Today I was busy working on some crafts and a lot of cooking.

The day started with making a Katamary Damacy-themed “The Prince” coaster for myself. It’s a small deviation from a cross-stitch pattern I saw on the Sprite-Stitch forums. I’ve really been in the mood to make stuff with Perler Beads lately.
With that is a cup of coffee and some freshly baked snickerdoodles. I bought the Pepperidge Farms ones, but they just aren’t soft enough for me. I’m glad I made them because they turned out to my liking ^^

I had my perler mats out for an idea I had. Well, every year I try very hard to make an annual Halloween direct sale for doll clothes. I have a few ideas so far. But my plan is to include some cute hairclips in every parcel ^^ I made an extra one for myself and one will soon be up for another giveaway here!
The hearts in the top of the image is something I was toying with. It made me (sadly) realize I don’t have enough pink perler beads!

And finally, dinner! Turned out really yummy… ciabatta bread, salad with Greek & feta dressing, and artichoke angel hair pasta with olives, capers, and tomato. A very simple, filling meal! I wish I would have remembered to take a photo of yesterday’s meal: brown sugar meatloaf, mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy, and Asian style green beans.
Tomorrow for us is barbeque at my parents’ house for Labor Day. After that will probably be a long nap! lol

Perler bead art is way too much fun – I’ve been messing around with them in my (little) spare time lately too, haha. I’m building a turtle army and a pile of cute hearts…I think I’m going to turn them into fridge magnets. :D Your little skullies are adorable!
