Halloween is so fun!
Now that I get to be more crafty with it with my daughter, we’re having fun eating candy and talking about pumpkins. I volunteered to do the snack for her preschool party. As soon as I saw this tutorial from Skip to My Lou, I had to try it!
At first I was going to do Frankenstein or the Ghost she has in the tutorial. Then I thought that might be scary for 3 year olds. Since the kids were also going to a pumpkin patch, ideas started to roll~

Made with black frosting writer, orange candy melts, green cookie frosting, and vanilla Oreos. My daughter is like me and doesn’t really like chocolate, so I thought I’d play it safe :)

With the amount of dolls I’ve adopted into new homes this Summer, I’ve been saving up for some as well :)
I wasn’t really planning on getting Saber Fate/Extra, but the more images I saw of her, I started tow ant her too! Especially since she comes with the new DDIII body, and my goal is to get a DD with every type of body. (If you’re curious, I’m saving for DDdy, and DD with small bust)

The clothes and accessories are nice, but just the doll herself and those eyes are what I’ve claimed ^^
I saw some images around of this lovely lady, Siean, by Fairyland. I really liked her and I’ve never had a fantasy doll before. She has elf ears ^^ I’m buying her from Denver Doll Emporium.

I’m buying just the basic. The clothes are lovely, but a little much for me.

I haven’t talked much about my 2nd Dollfie Dream Yukino yet because I don’t have a name for her yet. This wig isn’t even 100% what I’d like for her.
I got some lovely Ersa Flora eyes for her instead of the Volks Blue Animetric ones. These new eyes are quite shiny :3

I’ve had a lot of new incoming dolls these days! That’s hopefully going to slow down so I can save up for upcoming Dollfie Dreams and paying off a new BJD girl (more on that later!)
Thursday I decided to purchase Isul Mao. I found him to be a good price and worth the cost, as he came with a lot of extra clothing and accessories.

I was disapointed in the quality of his body. It feels like slightly thicker plastic than what you’d get from super flimsy cheap 12″ dolls and almost looks a bit translucent to me. Love that face mold, though! ^^;

My niece’s 1st birthday is coming up next month, and my sis requested puppets for her. I don’t think I’ve ever made hand puppets, so I found a really cute pattern and tutorial from Just Another Day in Paradise.
There’s 9 puppets and I made a felt drawstring bag to hold them all. The puppets were easier to make than I expected… this only took 2 days! Yay :D
