Hey everyone!
Are you freezing? Are you feeling the holiday spirit? Me, not so much, because it’s in the 80s here in ol’ Louisiana, so it just feels icky. But still, that hasn’t stopped me from working on some holiday ornaments! I’ll actually have a tree this year, so I’ve been working on some handmade goodness. Most of the patterns I used were from doing a search on Deviantart for “ornament patterns”, other sites, or just by sewing up basic shapes. Deco’ing them was pretty simple, too :)
I made at least 2 of each for myself and my daughter. I’m trying to create a “tradition” for us. Maybe one day, she’ll take these for use for her own family tree :)

Halloween is so fun!
Now that I get to be more crafty with it with my daughter, we’re having fun eating candy and talking about pumpkins. I volunteered to do the snack for her preschool party. As soon as I saw this tutorial from Skip to My Lou, I had to try it!
At first I was going to do Frankenstein or the Ghost she has in the tutorial. Then I thought that might be scary for 3 year olds. Since the kids were also going to a pumpkin patch, ideas started to roll~

Made with black frosting writer, orange candy melts, green cookie frosting, and vanilla Oreos. My daughter is like me and doesn’t really like chocolate, so I thought I’d play it safe :)

My niece’s 1st birthday is coming up next month, and my sis requested puppets for her. I don’t think I’ve ever made hand puppets, so I found a really cute pattern and tutorial from Just Another Day in Paradise.
There’s 9 puppets and I made a felt drawstring bag to hold them all. The puppets were easier to make than I expected… this only took 2 days! Yay :D

More blog posts! What what D:
Well, I’ve taken a few photos, just haven’t gotten to posting them.
For the past 2 months, I’ve been knitting every day. I am not the greatest knitter, but I haven’t yet challenged myself to knit a hat or something… just scarves. Lots of scarves. I randomly ran into a great project called Scarves for Japan, which is taking donations for knitted or crocheted things. I really wanted to be a part of this, so I worked hard!

Hi all!
First, apologies for the post spam. When I upgraded to the newest version of WordPress (and PHP), my posts from July and August were eaten @_@ Bummer! I didn’t remember what I’d written, so I just posted photos~
Well, I have something new to share with you all today too :) I was recently commissioned to make the hat, shirt, and add graphics to a leather jacket for a Taeyang. I’m quite pleased by how the jacket came out!
