Dec. 14th 2010
Hi everyone ^^
Hope you’re all enjoying December so far. Monday was my last day for shipping things. I’ve been reading reports that the post offices are already seeing delays. I’ve closed my Artfire shop and my official shop for the holidays. Plus, yes! Moving. Hopefully I’ll be all set up by the end of January or sooner :)

This year, I’ve been baking and mixing a lot of holiday goodies. I plan on giving a lot of it away to family and such this year. Anyway, I thought I’d make a blog post with a few recipes to share with everyone. The great thing about all the recipes is they are no bake and only require a microwave ^^
Santa Party Mix by Cookies and Cups (Pictured)
A really fun mix that is really delicious :) But really, I love anything with a candy coating hehe
Christmas Spiced Tea
A friend used to give this as a gift when I was in school. After college, I really wanted some again! lol The recipe I’ve found is pretty simple and makes quite a bit.
From the Complete Holiday Organizer by Emilie Barnes
1 cup instant tea (dry) (can use decaffeinated)
2 cups dry Tang (orange drink mix)
3 cups sugar (may be a lot for some, I cut it down to 2 cups)
1/2 cup red hots candy
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon powdered cloves (I used ground because that’s all I could find)
1 package of lemonade mix
Instructions: Mix all ingredients together. Add 1 heaping tablespoon of mix to one hot cup of water.
Tumbleweeds
When I was a kid, my neighbor would bring these over on a plate. After college, I heard someone mention them on a radio show. I finally found the recipe, and I’ve made these ever since. I brought them once to a work potluck and they were loved. I’m glad because they were very easy to make! I add 2 cups of chocolate.
My last recipe to share is from one of my favorite sites: Dollar Tree Crafts!
Peppermint Bark Christmas Trees
I suppose you could really make them any shape that you find silicone molds in :)
And also from DSC, find yourself needing an interesting container to put all your treats in? Then why not make a Sweet Candy Apothecary Jar, or a regular Apothecary Jar?

Oh, and random, found this at the store :) I couldn’t resist and had to buy it. How could I turn down a bro mix?
Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season!
